Audition Video submission guidelines
The performers' video clips must not exceed the duration of 6 minutes. Videos surpassing this time limit will not be considered for evaluation.
TARANG disclaims responsibility for any copyright issues that may arise from the submission of the videos.
The video should refrain from featuring celebrities, athletes, musicians, public or private figures, as well as avoiding content related to anti-social, political, or religious groups, charitable organisations, commercial solicitation, promotional materials, or any inclusion of personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or URL addresses. Additionally, the video must not incorporate any form of advertisements, personal solicitations, or commercial solicitations.
The video should refrain from including any content that encourages prejudice, racism, animosity, or harm towards any individual or group. Additionally, it should avoid promoting discrimination based on factors such as race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
The committee requires the presence of all members from your group during the auditions. Groups with absent performers may receive reduced priority in the selection process. Additionally, it is essential that the contestant's face is clearly visible in the dance submission. Avoid using masks or makeup that conceals the performer's face in the video, as this hinders us from identifying contestants during the finals if needed.
Costumes and makeup are optional for dance performance video.
TARANG 2025 will not be responsible for any copyright violation in any of your YouTube videos.
If the program committee is not satisfied with the video, they will contact you with further steps.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any significant changes in your item after it has been auditioned. Failing to do so may get you disqualified from participating at TARANG 2025.
The program committee of TARANG 2025 has the final authority in this process.
The judges for the auditions will be determined by the UDAYA committee. The decisions made by these judges, based on the submitted audition videos by participants will be final.
The performance timeslots assigned to each selected group/individual will be communicated before two weeks of the event.
Finalists will perform in front of a qualified and esteemed panel of judges and an audience of over 400 on 5th April 2025.
