IGNITING INDIAN ARTS
The competition is open to individuals without nationality restrictions.
Participants must register their full name, date of birth, contact number, email, address, and selected events by the published Closing Date of Registration on social media.
Information provided will be used solely for the competition and promotion of Tarang 2025 and will not be shared with external parties.
Organizers may verify entry validity on the day of the event as needed. Participants must present a verification document (e.g., Passport, Residence Permit) as proof of birthdate if requested.
Providing false personal data may result in disqualification.
Participants will receive a confirmation email upon registration. In the event that a participant does not receive the confirmation email within 48 hours of registration or payment, it is the participant's responsibility to contact us within two weeks to resolve the issue.Â
Registration fees are non-refundable for cancellations after the registration closing date.
Events require a minimum of 5 valid entries for competition. The committee may cancel events with insufficient participants.
Participants will be informed via email within one week after the registration closing date if an event is canceled due to low registrations.
Participants may be part of two competing groups in the same category with the program coordinator's permission.
All events are open to both male and female participants, with group events performed jointly or separately among genders.
Group dance events allow a minimum of three and a maximum of fourteen participants.
Refer to event guidelines for the maximum duration of each performance.
Participants are responsible for stage arrangements, with a maximum of 1 minute allowed for setup and clearing of props.
Stage performances must be done by participants holding chest numbers, and interference from others is not permitted.
Disrespectful conduct may lead to disqualification.
Adherence to the event schedule is crucial, with specific reporting times for performers.
Important Note: It is strictly prohibited to prompt or communicate with the judges by any means during the competition. Any attempt to do so, whether by participants or dance teachers, will result in immediate disqualification of the team or the person. No communication with the judges is allowed until the closing ceremony.
For dance teams, audio should be sent in MP3 format, and participants should have a backup on CD/USB to avoid disruptions.
Judgment is based on predefined criteria, and queries should be directed to the Judgment Committee.
Participants are responsible for fees, costumes, preparation, rehearsal costs, and transportation.
Interstate participants must arrange their food, accommodation, and travel.
Participants under 18 need parental/guardian consent and must complete relevant forms.
No alcohol/drugs are allowed at the event premises.
Tarang 2025 reserves the right to use participant information and media for promotional purposes.
Participants must ensure their entry does not violate third-party rights.
The Program Committee reserves the right to modify terms and conditions.
Tarang 2025 reserves the right to change venue and vary timings if necessary.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria.
Tarang 2025 is conducted by Udaya Sports & Arts Club.
